Connect kimorii to Muse
kimorii for Muse · from theo & amelia
Five minutes, every couple of hours. Muse tells you when.
Our kimorii collection is built around one small habit: five minutes of breathwork with hinoki, a few times a day. Connect kimorii to Muse and it looks at your calendar, finds the gaps between everything else, and reminds you when it's time, so you don't have to remember it or find the time for it.
Small, and at the same times
Regulating your nervous system is pretty simple. What makes it work is doing it consistently, and that matters a lot more than the next new hack, because the body likes consistency. I do five minutes of box breathing with hinoki every couple of hours, and 4-7-8 thirty minutes before bed. Do it at the same times for long enough and the scent becomes part of the cue.
How Muse fits it in
Each morning Muse looks at what's on your calendar, along with when you get up and when you go to bed. It puts a five minute breather roughly every two hours in the gaps, one fifteen minutes before anything big, and the wind down thirty minutes before bed, then reminds you as each one comes up. A busy day might look like this, where each red dot is five minutes of breathwork with hinoki:
- 6:30 amYou're up
- 8:30 amBefore the day gets going
- 9:00 amCoffee with a client
- 10:15 amBefore the investor call
- 10:30 amInvestor call
- 11:35 amOnce the call's done
- 12:30 pmLunch
- 1:35 pmAfter lunch
- 2:00 pmDesign review
- 4:05 pmWhen the afternoon drags
- 6:00 pmGym
- 7:20 pmAfter the gym
- 10:00 pmWind down with 4-7-8
- 10:30 pmBed
Muse keeps the times steady from one day to the next wherever your calendar allows, because doing it at the same times is the point.
What it tells you
When it's time, Muse keeps it short:
Time for your five minutes. Hinoki nearby if you have it, box breathing (in 4, hold 4, out 4, hold 4), and here's the forest.
The audio is five minutes of forest sound. A calm voice gives you the pattern once at the start, then stays quiet while you count it yourself and tells you when the five minutes are up. At night it's the same forest with 4-7-8 instead, sitting somewhere comfortable but not in bed, with a couple of drops of hinoki on the block.
Connect it
- In Muse, add a custom connector with this address:
https://kimorii-muse.kimorii-muse-connector.workers.dev/mcp - Muse will ask for an API key. Type anything, kimorii works, because there's no key to get and Muse's form just needs something in the box.
Things to say
- “Fit my five minutes into today.”
- “I need to calm down.”
- “I can't sleep.”
It'll also answer hinoki questions from our own guidance, and when you're running low it can put a bottle of Hinoki Oil in a cart for you. Payment always happens in our own checkout.
Same five minutes, same times, every day. Give it a week and see how you feel.
Don't have Muse? The free kimorii app runs box breathing and 4-7-8 with forest sounds and reminders.
kimorii is the hinoki collection from theo & amelia. The connector stores nothing about you.
